JTV: Jason Conner

Part of the Journey to Vigilante

vigilante-001For those of you who haven’t read Aluria yet, Jason Conner is the main character of the series.  Readers saw him mature as a young hero in a short time, while also knowing there is more evil out in the world to take down.  In Vigilante, he continues his quest to make the world a safe place to live, but while doing so, he learns more about himself.

In the new installment, readers will find that Jason is more conflicted and confused than ever.  This is for several reasons.  One, he has to confront his father, who he hasn’t spoken to in a long time, and he isn’t sure he can’t do that without having the urge to kill.  Second, his girlfriend, Princess Tessa Warren, is dealing with her own demons; trying to survive a difficult hearing in Washington, as well as living with the guilt of putting her kingdom in danger.  And third, going against the people he thought he would eventually be working with:  The Canton Police Department.

But he’s not without his allies to support him throughout these troubling times.  He’s got Bonnie, who’s like a second mother to him.  He’s got Lance, who supports him with all the latest electronics.  And last, but certainly not least, he’s got Aluria, his spiritual brother, his most trusted confidant.  With his support group to back him up, he feels like he can take on anything.

Those bonds will be tested in this new book, when he discovers secrets about himself and his family that will shock him to his core.  He’s prepared for attacks against his life, he’s trained for those as strong as he, but will he be able to take down the new evil that threatens this city of Canton, and his very existence?

I’ve always enjoyed writing Jason’s story, and I can’t wait for you to read what I have in store for him next.  Remember, Vigilante will be available March 4.
