2017 Read Local Book Fair

Every year, I have the pleasure of being invited to the Read Local Book Fair, hosted by the Macon County Public Library.  And every year, the experience is different and refreshing.  I meet new people, learn new things, and also sell some books!

img_1630.jpgAs always, this year was a pleasant experience.  You can see some of the clips in the video above.  Which reminds me…I’ve begun to start video blogging again.  I’ve missed doing it, even though I hate to hear myself speak.  But, I after experiencing both the video and written blogs, I think the best way to reach readers of all kinds is through both aspects.  I hope it works.

Flyer3In addition to bringing attention to my books, I also brought attention to a group I am now participating in.  It’s called the SCC Writer’s Group, and it’s something I started with several other local authors in the area.  We thought, because there are so many talented writers in Macon, Jackson, Swain and Haywood counties, we should provide a central location to where we can all meet and share an array of writing topics.  If that is something you would be interested in, feel free to email me at moonshinepressnc@gmail.com for more details.

If you didn’t get to attend the event, don’t fret!  There’s still an opportunity to purchase my books.  You can click here to purchase any one of my books.  I’m eager to find out what you think of them.

Until next time!
